About Us
My name is Bordes Slone. I've lived most of my life in these hills of Eastern Kentucky, except for a few younger years of my life, in the state of Indiana. I am like the noted author James Still, in his poem, Heritage. I cannot leave, neither do I want to. I don't consider myself an author, but I might consider myself a storyteller. This is my first novel, Life and Death on Troublesome Creek. I hope everyone likes reading this book as much as I enjoyed writing it.
